SPADe is a patented hybrid fixed-wing and VTOL UAV solution. The system can be deployed from a delivery missile, enabling highly responsive engagement by rapidly inserting the mission vehicle into the operational area while preserving 100% of its onboard energy for mission execution.
Its patented navigation architecture allows the mission vehicle to control both the delivery missile and the deployed UAV, enabling an unprecedented level of cost-efficiency in missile-based deployment operations.
Finally, its patented wing-conversion architecture and proprietary swashplate enable precise VTOL control and recovery without ground contact.
SPADe is a TRL 6 technology currently supported by Région Bretagne through a joint PUl initiative conducted in partnership with the ROBEX Laboratory at ENSTA Bretagne.
